Nadine’s story is about continuous learning and development both personally and professionally. Building on her accounting technician studies in the early 1990s, Nadine went on to complete her certified accountancy qualification in the late 1990s and is now a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) establishing Crawford’s 2005. The business was born out of the passion Nadine has to provide owner-managed businesses with personal, professional accountancy support. Nadine believes all businesses should have access to an accountant no matter how small, and has created a unique bookkeeping and accountancy support offer which ensures the service is personal, supportive and professional. Nadine has worked in both practice and industry, gaining her practice experience in a small local firm which provided the stimulus to start her own business. Nadine has a wealth of experience working with start-ups and micro businesses. As a qualified university lecturer Nadine has the unique combination of teaching and practical business skills. Nadine’s current teaching in Accounting and Finance at undergraduate level is enriched by her practical entrepreneurial and business advisory skills.
Nadine has served as a mentor to Christ the King Sixth Form College Enterprise Graduate Programme and served as a board member and as a Partner in Business. Current mentor work includes working with the Social Enterprise and Employment Development Service (SEEDS) in their WDP Life Transformed programme.
Nadine is married to Tony and they have two children Florence and Sienna.
